We are committed to delivering innovative, high quality solutions in the form of renal, medical-surgical, vascular, and vascular imaging products – with the ultimate goal of improving patient care and quality of life. This fundamental objective drives us to develop cutting-edge, value-added products for healthcare professionals that are safe, effective, and easy to use.

As an integral part of our vast global manufacturing network, Nipro Medical Corporation is responsible for managing the sales, marketing, and business operations of North and South America. To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications (MarCom) Officer to be based in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

About the Role:

As MarCom Officer, you will report to the Senior Manager of the Marketing department and will provide best-in-class service to Nipro Medical Corporation’s North American division in the form of content creation, external & internal communication, and event support for congresses, trade associations, and KOL interactions.

In this role, you are both the company wordsmith and A-Z coordinator for events. This means you are a creative, service-minded individual who will write original content and edit existing copy that is cogent and engaging – with the ultimate goal of unifying, elevating, and driving the Nipro brand and its visibility in all forms of print and digital media. As you give shape to one coherent “Nipro voice”, you will also ensure the meticulous organization and execution of events, trade association engagements, and KOL interactions – aiding in the creation of new professional connections and solidifying existing ones, across all Nipro product lines.

A successful candidate should have a strong background in editing a diverse range of copy (e.g. formats, lengths, audiences, etc.) coupled with a hospitality, service-oriented mindset, having worked on large & small-scale events, external & internal communications, and building professional relationships. Proven talent in copywriting and experience at effectively coordinating, carrying out, and evaluating the performance of events are must-haves.

Strong communication and organization skills are a cornerstone of this role, with the added requirements of working both independently and in a team setting, while effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders, understanding the needs of different medical/healthcare audiences, and the willingness to jump into action as needed – in both the short and long-term.

  • Solidify efforts to elevate and strengthen the Nipro brand & visibility through engaging, cogent copy that unifies the Nipro voice & messaging – with the end goal of producing only the highest quality content
  • Successfully liaise and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet the company’s short and long-term objectives
  • Ensure the value of Nipro is elevated and positioned beyond its products

Content creation & management:

  • Express your gift of language by developing and maintaining the creative and conceptual writing standards of North America – applying them consistently across all forms of print and digital media, and across all product lines
  • Manage all external copyediting and copywriting assignments from A to Z (from initial draft to final publication) – including tracking and approval for audit purposes, and following all applicable SOP(s)
  • Compose original content that is professional, engaging, and effectively speaks to the target audience(s)
  • Continuously review existing written material, taking the necessary steps to collaborate with applicable document/content owners in the copyediting process – with the ultimate goal of publishing upgraded, updated versions
  • Ensure all content is fine-tuned to meet its objectives (e.g. content, language, scope, format, methods of reproduction, etc.) and is free of errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in information
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with product managers, visual/graphic designers, creative teams, training teams, new product development teams, etc. for new content ideas and strategies to give Nipro a cutting edge
  • Keep up to date with the latest marketing/language trends and best practices, offering “future-proof” solutions
  • Help drive the presence and visibility of Nipro’s commitment to studies and scientific data by writing copy that is clinically-oriented
  • Ensure adherence to the Marketing Approval process (SOP) for all external communication
  • Work collaboratively within the marketing department to maintain the integrity of Nipro’s digital library, publishing only the latest approved versions and removing previous/outdated files from circulation
  • Update the website as needed and assist in the promotion of Nipro via digital advertising campaigns, digital booth platforms, social media (LinkedIn), and trade association channels
  • Provide support in the form of copyediting and copywriting for company-wide internal communication efforts led by HR, IT, RAQA, etc.

Event & leads management:

  • Provide support in the planning, preparation, and execution of congresses, trade shows, conferences, webinars, company-led events, etc.
  • Assist in the management of virtual booths, including content, permissions, access, etc.
  • Negotiate agreements with third party vendors and subcontractors to ensure the highest quality service at discount or bulk/group rates
  • Track the budget and spending of each event and report accordingly
  • Liaise with internal teams for coordinating product demonstrations, as needed
  • Own and manage the marketing event calendar and all relevant data/metrics associated with event participation
  • Determine KPI’s for the marketing department and report accordingly
  • Ensure both the passive and active acquisition of leads across multiple mediums (e.g. website, on-site at events, other digital platforms), aggregate them accordingly, and distribute to the appropriate Sales channels
  • Engage on a continuous basis with sales and product managers to successfully track leads with clinical experts and KOLs, always following Sunshine Act laws
