About the Role:

With the implementation of new products, our team is growing and in search of a Regional Clinical Specialist who will provide clinical leadership, education, and support to provider organizations. Our ideal candidate is a mission driven self-starter, who demonstrates exemplary service to our customers in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes.

Territory includes: WA, OR, CA, NV, UT, AZ, WY, MT, HI, AK

Essential Functions:
  • Provide clinical education tools to facility in order to “train the trainer.”
  • Support physicians to determine prescription and method selection.
  • Collaborate with facility staff for operator training and clinical considerations associated with therapy (e.g., access, monitoring, operation of equipment, and troubleshooting).
  • Initiate quality improvement plans.
  • Plan and effectively implement multiple experience level education sessions as necessary for nurses and patient care technicians.
  • Collaborate and assist in the development of new programs such as organization, quality tracking, systems and processes.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with direct team and cross-functionally.
  • Maintain technical and clinical proficiency on all Nipro products.
  • Partner with Nipro Regional Sales Specialists to provide educational programs and training to clients.
  • Develop strategic account planning and targeting to ensure teamwork and proper allocation of resources.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct manager.
  • Stay up to date on federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Complete all administrative duties as assigned by direct supervisor, such as, accurate and timely expense reports.

Travel Required:

80% domestic travel required. Air travel and overnight stays may be necessary.

Education & Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree is preferred; in lieu of degree, extensive, relevant technical, clinical, or related industry experience may be considered.
  • Must be a Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Nephrology Technician (CHT, CCHT, etc.)
Experience & Required Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in dialysis.
  • Experience in Acute, Chronic and PD is strongly preferred.
  • Effective presentation skills, professional and executive presence that can gain credibility with any audience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; demonstrates the ability to deliver timely communication to both internal and external customers.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to change.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
