Regional Sales Specialist - North Central

Our team is growing and in search of a Regional Sales Specialist focused on driving business in the West Coast territory. Our ideal candidate is a mission driven self- starter, who demonstrates exemplary service to our dialysis customers in clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes.

Territories include: OH, IN, MI, IL, WI, MO, IA, MN, ND, SD, NE, & KS

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Develop professional expertise and apply company policy & procedures to achieve projected quarterly sales goals for renal products and equipment within assigned geography.
  • Execute sales objectives and drives results:
    • Consistently provide clear and accurate sales targets and forecast sales projections on assigned products and equipment while maintaining accurate and timely reports.
    • Develop customer relationship and deliver customer centric solutions with a focus on providing value.
    • Maintain all necessary sales reports.
    • Identify challenges and opportunities in the market using sales data and customer feedback.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with direct team and cross-functionally.
  • Maintain technical and clinical proficiency on all products.
  • Identify customer needs and provide them with insight on all Nipro products and services.
  • Coordinate all in-service, technical and sales support functions to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Partner with Nipro Clinical Support Specialists to provide educational programs and training to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer information.
  • Maintain timely and accurate management of customer contracts.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct manager.
  • Stay up to date on federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Complete all administrative duties as assigned by direct supervisor such as accurate and timely expense reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree; in lieu of degree, extensive, relevant technical, clinical, or related industry experience may be considered.
Experience & Required Skills:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of medical sales experience with proven results of meeting company sales goals and objectives.
  • Must have experience in dialysis & nephrology.
  • Effective presentation skills, professional and executive presence can gain credibility with any audience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; demonstrates the ability to deliver timely communication to both internal and external customers.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
Work Authorization:

Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States at time of hire.

  • Must be able to physically cover and maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers over designated territory.
  • Extensive travel by automobile, train or airplane is often necessary to cover assigned territory and includes overnight stays. Contact by phone with customers is not adequate. Occasional weekend work may be necessary to support trade show events.
  • Must reside within assigned territory as permissible under state law.


Supervisory responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct reports.


Travel required:
75% domestic travel required within assigned territory. Air travel and overnight stays may be necessary.
